First off I would like to say that I am honored that I was chosen to review this amazing book. City of Saints, is a biographical story about Saint Pope John Paul II. JP II is one of my favorite Saints. I also feel that he is one of the most amazing people to be apart of the Catholic Church in a long time. As a Catholic I truly feel BLESSED to call him our Pope. This book was amazing and let me tell you a spiritual pilgrimage to Poland is now definitely in my future.

The pictures and historical sites you see in the book are absolutely wonderful! I must also give credit that the author worked very hard to make sure his facts where straight and with a book like this that is so important . The book also conveys the author’s passion for the subject! Something that can not be faked or imitated.

I admire how the author took Polish history and wove it into the fabric of the story. Where a person comes from is part of the fabric that makes them who they are. I am not here to sit and argue nature vs nurture with you but we have to admit both are very important to the fabric of each human being.

Saint Pope John Paul II, was an amazing person and he did so many wonderful things with his life. Not for himself, glory, or even the church; but to improve his relationship with God, and to make the world around him a better place. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Saints, history, JP II, or some one just looking for a beautiful  story about a beautiful person.
